Broadcast Captioning & Consulting Services Inc. is a full service closed captioning corporation. BCCS has been in business for over ten years and has been providing the highest quality of closed captioning services to its broadcast clients in both Canada and the United States.

BCCS has over 60 real-time/off-line captionists and support staff that enable us to meet the 24 hours, seven days a week caption requirements of the broadcast industry. Our real-time captionists work remotely and exclusively with us, and are geographically located from as far west as Hawaii to as far east as Boston which allows us to cover a 24- hour clock quite readily. We pride ourselves in being available 24 hours a day and able to accommodate our clients in last minute emergency situations. A recent example of this was the power out in the Eastern United States and Ontario. BCCS not only met all of the increased captioning requests because of the blackout, but also fulfilled additional requests by broadcasters that could not be met by our competitors because of that power outage.

BCCS provides over 30,000 hours of closed captioning per year to a number of clients across the United States and Canada. We caption a wide variety of programming, 365 days per year. (i.e. news, sports, reality television, episodic series, live music, telethons, pay-per-view events, newsbreaks, promos)

We have trained and assisted our broadcast clients in securing closed captioning sponsorship for their closed captioned programming in order to offset some of the direct costs for closed captioning.

As part of the consulting services that BCCS provides, we do a lot of pro bono consulting work in dealing with advocacy groups with issues relating to closed captioning
